    Lijiang river lyric was composed in March 2019, which is performed with woodwinds, harp and string. It is for the symphonic concert during the ASEAN Music Week, where the composer was invited to create a work for the event. The Lyric describes the beauty of Lijiang river which is located in Guilin Guangxi. The river has always been the inspiration to Chinese culture and artists since ancient times. It displays a perfect fusion of the southern operatic tunes and folks; it also shows a combination of the development theme and motif in Chinese traditional style. The concept reflects the charming scenery and the local life along the river. The composer created in praise of life and conveyed an aesthetic appreciation and the unique style of Chinese traditional music.
