Biography

Composer, clarinettist, musicologist.
He studied composition with G.Bonato, S.Sciarrino, Sir P.Maxwell Davies and others. In 2006 and 2007 he took part in masterclass for composers with Klangforum Wien’s musicians. He has been selected in several composition competitions among which Queen Elisabeth International Grand Prize For Composition 2011 (Belgium), Paderewsky International Composition Competition 2011 (Poland), Tim International Music Tournament 2012 (Paris), Sound Connections Competition For Composers 2013/14 (UK) and many others. His works have been performed in several european countries by renowned musicians such as Quartetto Prometeo, Bath Philharmonia and others and are published by Bèrben, ArsPublica and Armelin Ed. In 2013 he has been nominated composer in residence by the Estonian National Male Choir (RAM) and in the same year he conducted his Nasce...si spegne with the Chamber Orchestra of the Tonkünstler-Orchesters Niederösterreich during the Grafenegg Festival (Austria). In 2014 his music was also broadcasted by KlassikaRaadio (Estonia).
