Notes

  • Program notes:

A slowly rotating motor moves magnets which are fixed on a acrylic glass bar. Laboratory glass bottles filled with pins are located on the bottom side of the lower acrylic glass pane. The movement of magnets pushes the pins upwards for a tiny moment, afterwards they are falling back on the bottom of the glass bottles.
This installation produces relativly quiet, irregular hitting sounds. This requests a high attention and a quiet reception from each visitor.
