Basic information



  • Program notes: 

    Pixel is a live performance for augmented double bass and live electronics.
    This performance brings together a composed sound installation with an improvised performance.
    The main focus is the relationship between an immaterial sound environnement and the musical and physical gestures of the performer.

    Using the MAX environnemnt, the electronic programming provides a space and a direction for a live performance captured through sensors (Arduino communication and video tracking).

    Each performance can be adapted to any sound system (minimum 2 speakers and a sub) and duration (minimum 10 mins)

    Si une contrebasse peut être trouvée sur place, le transport par avion en sera beaucoup facilité. Les capteurs sont aisément amovibles et peuvent être placés sur n'importe quelle contrebasse.
