Basic information

Notes

  • Program notes:

The piece "zones d'approche"is the product of a challenging commission because its very heterogeneous scoring. As the title implies, it is about “touching” - each instrument "tests" its own vocabulary, but listening in parallel, he is also intercepting the idioms of the others - a kind of game in the form of orbits, approaches or repulsions. A reservoir of various sound gestures (one could also call them sonic "objets trouvés") serves as a catalyst of the form where also a “touching” to music history in form as short quotations which permanently emerge for extremely short moments could be observed.
