Notes

  • Program notes:

Tríptico for solo flute was written in 2007 and revised in 2010. The piece consists of three parts, Impromptu, Scherzo and Ad Libitum, in which forceful and at times contrasting dramatic gestures combined with subtle, evocative atmospheres, create music of profound emotional resonance. Like in her other pieces Clotilde Rosa explores here a wide range of technical and interpretative qualities of the solo instrument.
