Notes

  • Program notes:

Flemish composer Frederik Neyrinck is definitely one of the voices of his generation. Gestalt IX is characterized by a rather unusual, symmetrical configuration of the orchestra. While creating some peculiar spatial relationships between the different orchestral groups, this also brings about an experimental environment for the composer, allowing him to create dialogues between the orchestral groups or even evoke the notion of sound in motion.
