Notes

  • Program notes:

Symphony No.3 by G. Mahler, ‘Graveyard under Snow’, a painting by Caspar D. Friedrich and the german romantic poets, – these are the sources of the inspiration for this piece. Not only the quoted Mahler’s music, but also the verse from ‘Also sprach Zarathustra’ by F. Nietzsche form the semantic essence of the work. Looking back upon the past, life was the internal oscillation caused by the external stimulus, similar to sound. In this piece a subject which has the own frequency, looks for the external objects which oscillate itself.
