Kim, Heera: Pan

Basic information

Notes

  • Program notes:

'Pan' means a place where something happened, a state or a situation.
The main interest of this music was to suggest the possibility of how to bring together 6 performers in one ensemble. Of course, it was a study on how to
make balance and harmony among the instruments as an ensemble while keeping unique colors and natures of 6 performers.
In this music, the explosive part, in which performers seem as if they make a certain 'fuss', and the quiet part, which comes from the explosive part in
fragmented materials, are repeating. Tension and relaxation keeps repeating in this music.
