    This is the second work of MEUN series, which has been going on since 2013. The title of the work is that of French painter Simon Hantai’s series, who is originally from Hungry. It is also the name of a small rural village in France where the author worked. This work was based on “balance between object and space,” a characteristic of Simon Hantai’s work.
    A piano, which is an acoustic instrument, and a small speakers that strictly makes mechanical sounds – I tried to study how these two heterogeneous objects are in harmony with each other and achieve a balance in a single work and in the same time.
    There is a specific installation for the realization of the work: Two small speakers are placed inside a piano. A program for displaying the sound sources and time is run on the computer, and when the pianist is ready to play, the start button is pressed. Various synthesized sounds from the speaker create a resonance with the piano strings as the piano pedal is pressed, and a specific sound color is produced and achieved as a result. In other words, a piano is used as the resonance box, not the speaker facing towards the audience, thereby reproducing the sounds from the speaker in the form of a resonance with the piano
