Notes

  • Program notes:

Fugue is a symbol of tradition and order in the music. Its ground is the subject sounding in the parts one by one in transpositions. It is possible to take exception to it: we live in another world today, our world is full of chaos having a critical attitude to the values.
The form of fugue was chosen – both serious and funny – by composer for the project ‚7 B‘ (7 flats) in Žilina 2012 with premieres of works by Bokes and his former students at the Academy of Music.
