Notes

  • Program notes:

Symphonic fantasia Universe (4 Symphonic Images) represents the composer’s subjective musical experience of endless space. The four images are sections of a whole, rather than separate movements. The composer makes a conscious creative choice to avoid a specific theme, weaving a “constellation” of sounds containing a triplet phrase, suspensions, repetitive motifs and individual lines of melody. The piece ends with a short coda which echoes its very beginning.
The composer himself says: “I wanted us to go on a “space journey” from celestial silence to the Big Bang”.
