Notes

  • Program notes:

It is a bright, lively and optimistic composition the idea of which is expressed in the title. However, the diversity of clours is not the main goal here. „To paint music“ is rather the way of constructing the composition, by giving individual directions of motion to the instruments and sound layers. The introductory motives appearing later, as ever-recurring questions, mark the sections of the tight-knit mosaic. These motives gradually evolve into a strong climax where two significant themes interweave, declaring the resolution.
