Biography

Marcos Stuardo is a Chilean London-based composer. He obtained his
'Licenciatura en Composición' (Bachelor in Composition) with the Highest
Distinction at Universidad de Chile under the tutelage of Andrés Maupoint. At
King's College London he studied with Silvina Milstein and was awarded the
Master in Music degree (Distinction). Stuardo is a current MPhil/PhD student at
King's working under the supervision of Silvina Milstein.
Marcos' music has been performed in the most prestigious Chilean
festivals and his piece for orchestra Et' was awarded the first prize in the
'Audición de Nuevas Obras de Compositores Chilenos' Composition Prize 2010.
