Biography

Eva Sidén, Sweden, composer and concert pianist with an international career. Composes both instrumental and electroacoustic music, EAM and creates conceptual concert-and soundinstallations. She performs and creates works at concert and culture houses, festivals and art museums and galleries around the world. Frequently collaborating with other artists and artforms such as visual arts, dance, theater, text and room/architecture and she has made several commissioned works and concerts that combines piano and other instruments with electronics and performance with scenography. Eva Sidén is also a highly valid concert pianist with many firsttimeperformances aswell as traditional classical music on her repertoar. She studied piano and composition at Music-conservatorys in Prag, Brno, Paris and in Stockholm. Contemporary music, electroaccustic music at IRCAM , Paris, furthermore arttheory/aestetic philosophy, art and musicology at Stockholm University.
