Biography

Shi Ziwei was composer from Kunming,Yunnan. He entered the Yunnan Arts College to study the violin and composition in 1984 and received his Bachelor’s degree in 1988. He continued to pursue his Master’s degree at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music studying composition with Professor Huang Huwei. He Graduated and received a master's degree in 1990, professor main subjects Composition at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music so far. He was invited to participate in the International Musical Cultural Exchange between China and Japan.
China—Korea Oriental Contemporary Music Festival Chengdu Seoul 2006. ISCM—ACL World Music Days 2007 Hong Kong-Music & Beyond. His music and art works have been performed and exhibited at the Yunnan Art Galley.His main works include Symphonic Suite in II Movements,symphonic poem Sounds in Changing Space, Yi, Second Symphony, etc.
