Biography

Born in Santiago, Chile. He studied composition and music education as an undergraduate and later completed a Master of Music at the University of Melbourne. Currently, he is a Fulbright grantee completing a DMA in composition at Boston University where he studies with Joshua Fineberg. His music has been played internationally. Important performances include several versions of the two most significative new music festivals in Chile (PUC and Universidad de Chile), the 15th Rencontre de Guitare Classique in Nice, two seasons of Arcko Symphonic Ensemble in Melbourne, two seasons of Sound Icon Ensemble in Boston, and one concert with the JACK quartet. His sources of inspiration include painting, literature, and the natural world.
