Biography

Mario Alfredo Oyanadel Guiñez was born on November 15, 1990 in Santiago Chile. Oyanadel started composition studies at the University of Chile at the age of 18. His teachers include renowned composers such as Jorge Pepi Alos, Andres Maupoint, Eduardo Caceres and Edgardo Canton. His music has been awarded on several occasions, his orchestral piece “Acuarelas” won the first contest for symphonic ensemble held by the University of Chile in the orchestral category. He also received third place for his work “Noche” in the “Carlos Riesco” composition contest and his orchestra piece “Ecos y Resonancias ” was awarded with the first place in the composition contest “Luis Advis”.
