Biography

Fernando Munizaga (Chile, 1986) initially studied guitar and then composition at the Catholic University of Chili. After receiving his bachelor's degree in guitar, he continued his studies in composition at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) in the composition Master's degree program. In 2016 he attended a class of specialization in electronics Cursus 1 at IRCAM (Paris). His work is currently turned towards the analysis of intonation, phonetics, structure, and the conceptual exploration of poetic texts from different languages and cultures, materials which Munizaga includes in his research in the field of instrumental and electronic music.
