Biography

Arnold Ludvig, born in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands February 27th 1968, started playing electric bass at the tender age of 12 and has since become an award winning bassist. He began composing jazz in 1991 and has 2 albums with all his own compositions. Arnold started composing classical music in 2015. His first, "Knúkur" for flute and piano, was performed and recorded at Summartónar 2015 by Nikolos (flute) and Papayiotis Demopoulis (piano), released on the "Snjólýsi" album on Tutl Records in the Faroe Islands in 2016. Arnold's 2nd and 3rd classisal copositions were performed at the Summartónar Festival 2016.
