Minna Leinonen (b. 1977) is a Finnish composer. Her works get impulses from everyday phenomena such as daily objects or sounds. She has written music for Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, ICE ensemble (New York) and many top ensembles and musicians in Nordic countries. She has lately been working a lot with other artists combining different art forms like installation, video, document and electronics. She began her doctoral studies in composition at Sibelius Academy in 2013.Her homepage is: www.minnaleinonen.com.
