Biography

A Composer, an arranger, an instrumentalist, an University lecturer (adiunct) in Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. He graduated from the F. Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw where he studied the composition under prof. Marian Borkowski.
He has won over twenty national and international composers competitions including:
Krzysztof Penderecki's First International Composers Competition "Arboretum" (first prize), K. Serocki International Composers Competition, G. Fitelberg Composers Competition, K. Szymanowski Composers Competition (ZAiKS), T. Baird Composers Competition (three times), “Musica Sacra” International Composers Competition (fife times), W. Landowska Composers Competition and many others.
Bartosz Kowalski's music was performed eg. by: the Croation Radio-Television Symphony Orchestra in Zagreb, the Chamber orchestra “Leopolis” in Lviv, the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Warsaw, the Polish Symphony Orchestra in Kielce, Czestochowa, Katowice, the Silesian Filharmonic Orchestra and many others.
