Biography

Born in Yokohama. Completed the Graduate School of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. Received a lot of awards including the Compositional Award of Nihon no Ongaku-ten. Major works: Three Female Songs (for soprano and piano), The Variants of Deformed Cross (for piano), String Trio, The Westerlies (for marimba), etc. Currently he is the vice president of Music-Department, the Japan Society of Universities of Education. And the associate professor of Utsunomiya University. Also a member of the Japan Society for Contemporary Music and the Japan Federation of Composers.
