Biography

Reuben Jelleyman (1993), currently based in Wellington, New Zealand, is a physics major at the University of Victoria, with concurrent studies in sonic art at the New Zealand School of Music. His music stretches between contemporary aesthetics and historic practices, and focuses on construction. The composer has had music played by Avanti! (Finland), Intrepid Music (Akl), the NZSO, ACL (Singapore); and has played percussion with the major NZ youth orchestras and at numerous festivals as an improvisor and electronic artist.
