Biography

Harlan Hodges is a composer/pianist from West Texas who writes and performs across a wide range of music and performance mediums. Having studied at Texas Tech University with William Westney, Peter Fischer, and Mei-Fang Lin, his music draws on materials from the modern classical and jazz traditions. His works are improvisational and conceptual, exploring the relationship between modern technologies and music. He has produced works including, big band, orchestra, large-scale art installations, live-action scores and songwriter arrangements. He has had the great honor to work alongside many of his idols including Rupert Neve, Les Brockmann, Wayne Bergeron, and Donald Fagen.
