Biography

Composer, professor and researcher. Born in Rosario (Santa fe), Argentina, in 1941.
Professor of Composition, Analysis, Orchestration, Acoustic, Organology and Electroacoustic Music at the National University of Rosario School of Music.
Professor of Latin America Ethnomusicology at the Interamerican Open University (Rosario) in the Music Therapy department.
His production as a composer includes pieces for solo instruments, symphonic and chamber music, electroacustic and mixed compositions (for instruments and electronic sounds). His music has received different awards, and numerous performances in Argentina, the U.S., canada, Spain, Great Britain, France, Germany, Brazil, Chile, El Salvador, Venezuela and Uruguay.
Guest composer in numerous International contemporary music festivals.
Author of a great number of writings about contemporary music composition, análisis methodology, orchestration and contemporary music in Latin America.
