Biography

Composer and pianist, he is Assistant Professor (RDIDP) at the Institute of Arts of Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), where he also works as a Coordinator of the Bachelor's and Music Degree programs and as Tutor of the PET-Música program. He holds a PhD in Music from the University of São Paulo (having a FAPESP scholarship), holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music with a Composition Degree and a Master's Degree in Musicology from the same institution. He taught at the School of Music of the State of São Paulo (EMESP-Tom Jobim), where he was also Coordinator of Supporting Disciplines; At the Mozarteum Faculty of São Paulo (FAMOSP), at the Carlos Gomes Music School and at the Prados Festival. Composer, regularly participates in national and international festivals focused on contemporary music. He also works as a pianist and researcher in the areas of Processes of Creation, Analysis, Composition, Citation and Metalanguage in Contemporary Music, and is dedicated to researching the work of Willy Corrêa de Oliveira and Henri Pousseur.
