Biography

Esteban Correa (Chile, 1979) artistic career is bound to the composition of concert music, which includes the creation
and assembly of nearly 40 compositions for orchestra, chamber and soloists, performed in the main Chilean festivals,
as well as abroad (Latin America, North America, Europe and Asia), several of which have been broadcasted through
radial and written media. His work as a composer has been distinguished and has earned him the acknowledgement of
the critics from important media in Chile (El Ciudadano, El Mercurio and The Clinic), work that he complements
with a successful bond with popular music, currently emerging in the “Septiembre” band, where he undertakes the
creative side, and also performs as guitar player and lead vocals.
Esteban Correa is a Music Professor (Universidad de La Serena), Music Graduate specialized in Composition
(Universidad Católica) and with Master's Degree in Arts (Universidad Católica), working as Professor from 2007 at
Universidad de La Serena.
