Biography

I began my musical carrier as an orchestra violinist. Sándor Szokolay, Rudolf Maros, Attila Bozay, Zsolt Durkó, Endre Székely, Ferenc Farkas directed my composing studies. My chamber music pieces are often played at the studio concerts of the Hungarian Radio and in several cities of Japan and Canada. Important first performances: Hungarian Clarinet Anthology; a composition for violoncello and piano at the Bartók House in 2008; Newer thoughts for string quartet. Recently I have had two composer’s nights at the Budapest Academy of Music and at the Bartók House. A large number of my compositions have been made on order of my performers. A musical piece of mine was one of the compulsory compositions at the national competition of wind quintets in 1987. I am a member of the Hungarian Composers’ Union.
