Biography

Patricia Bantar is an Argentinian composer graduated with honors from La Plata National University- Fine Arts School where she holds a batchelor and a teaching degree in Music, oriented in Composition. There, she studied with Mariano Etkin, María Cecilia Villanueva, Carlos Mastropietro among others.
She regularly participates in different contemporary music festivals and projects in her country, Latin America and Europe.
She obtained “Joaquín V. Gonzalez” Prize (2011), and a mention by Consejo Argentino de la Música (2017). She was selected by Collége Contemporain and Colón Contemporáneo to participate in a workshop and recording with Odile Auboin (Ensemble Intercontemporaine).
