Biography

Daniel Alcheh was born in Israel and currently lives and works in Los Angeles. His concert works have been played around the world and include “Nocturne and Aubade,” the obligatory contemporary piece for senior competitors at the 2002 Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition and ”String Trio” for Violin, Viola and Cello, a prizewinner at The 22nd Asian Composers League Festival in Seoul, Korea. His "Dying Pianos" for piano duo and recorded sound was commissioned by The Israeli Piano Duo. Alcheh also writes extensively for film, television and advertising. His score for “The Trouble With Bliss” was released by Sony Classical.
