2004_ISCM - MEXICAN SECTION

Year:
Report:

Like every year since nine, we celebrated two season of 4 concerts each one, but in this time we made three: the first and third was presented in Casa Grande of the Society of Authors and Composers of Music, the second was in the Auditorium "A" of the Mexican Institute Of the Radio.

Like promedium in each season we presented more or less 26 works included in this many first audition.

We had a special celebration for our radio program "Horizontes de Nuest a Música" (Our music horizons)because we have 100 programs and for this special event The Choir Solistas Ensamble from Bellas Artes sung and exclusive program only with contemporary mexican choral music.

We are making differents contacts at in ernational level, sending our music to Argentina, Japon, Australia, USA,etc.

We are yet with our Radio program and the idea of this radio station is to promove all the composers and musicians and create a musical memory of our country.

One of our most important projects is to do at least 5 CD one of them is now almost ready and it has music for violin, cello and piano.

In our second season the works was increased by 8 concerts too, because The Liga de Compositores and the So iedad Mexicana de Música Nueva presented 2 concerts each one, and this was transformed in a big Festival of Mexican Music.
