  • Please describe your organization’s activities over the past year, including concerts, commissions, collaborations, publications: 

    Two big projects - collaboration with ISCM-China and ISCM-Australia.

    April-May. ISCM-Russia and Moscow Contemporarty Music Ensemble (MCME) participated at the Beijing Modern Music Festival, at the China-Asean Festival in Nanning and in the residence of Shanghai Conservatory (master-classes, reading of the scores and concert). Two composers from China Zhong Juncheng and Wen Deqing were invited to Russia for several concerts in Moscow Philharmonics and Kazan Conservatory as well as for lectures and master-classes.

    April. MCME participated in the big Australian tour in Sydeny (Sydney conservatory), Melbourn (Monash University, Melbourn University) and Perth (Tura New Music) consisting of the concerts, reading of the scores sessions and workshops and presenting Russian, Australian and European music. Before (September 2016) ISCM-Russia invited the leading Australian composer Michael Smetanin to partiicpate at the International Young Composers Academy in Tchaikovsky

    The international activity.

    March. Participation in the residence of the Golsmiths University, London, UK (the scores readings, the concert) devoted to music by Russian, British and Italian composers
    March. Concert in Vienna presenting music by Russian and Austrian composers
    May. Presenting music by Russian, Swiss and French composers at the Diaghilev Festival (Perm, Russia)
    September. For participation at 7th International Young Composers Academy in Tchaikovsky we invited the leading composers as the professors of the Academy: Jerome Combier (France), Yannia Kyriakides (the Netherlands), Elzbieta Sikora (Poland) as well as the director of the Donemus Publishing House Davo van Persen (the Netherlands)
    September. Presenting music by Russian composers at the Rotterdam Festival (the Netherlands)
    October. Participation at the Festival "Days of Milko Kelemen" in Slatina, Croatia presenting music by Russian and Croatian composers
    October. Presenting music by Russian composers at the Festival "Expositon of New Music", Brno, Czech Republic
    November. Swiss-Russian project "Revolution" in Russian cities (Arkhangelsk, Nyandoma, Moscow): Thomas Mejer, Valentin Marti, Joerg Frey
    November. international project "California meets Ural" with invitation of 3 U.S.composers and tour in Moscow, Perm and Yekaterinburg (Ural, Russia): Pamela Madsen, Vera Ivanova and Eric Dries
    December. Dutch composers Chiel Meijering and Huba de Graaf were invited to Russia for lectures and comcerts in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg
