  • Please describe your organization’s activities over the past year, including concerts, commissions, collaborations, publications: 

    Snyk is the national centre for contemporary and experimental music and sound art in Denmark. Snyk contributes to the development of the music scene in Denmark focusing on the field of contemporary, experimental music and sound art. Snyk facilitates and produces a wide range of projects in collaboration with the Danish and international scene, E.G. international exchange projects and administrates Grants for International Travel Support for Danish musicians going abroad and for international artists, who are invited to Denmark. Snyk produces an annual festival for new, experimental music and sound art, the G((o))ng Tomorrow Festival. Furthermore, Snyk has been partner in OPPOSITE 2017 – a multi-facettet music-exchange between Denmark and Japan throughout 2017, had residencies for Danish composers in collaboration with Bang on a Can (US), and has been doing educational programmes in collaboration with The National Gallery of Denmark, The Danish Composers Society amongst others.
