  • Please describe your organization’s activities over the past year, including concerts, commissions, collaborations, publications: 

    In 2015 Estonian Composers´ Union (ECU) celebrated the 90th birthday of the organisation with 6 concerts in collaboration with Estonian leading musicians and collectives presenting music by Estonian composers from different eras. As a tradition, ECU organises one of the biggest new music festivals in Estonia called Estonian Music Days. The festival took place in April, presented almost 60 new compositions in 20 concerts. In the framework of Estonian Music Days a contemporary classical music festival for children and students took place involving more than 300 kids from music school and regular schools. The festival was awarded 2 awards from Tallinn City Council.
