The Ministry for Tourism and the Malta Tourism Authority are pleased to announce that preparations are underway for the 23rd edition of the MALTA INTERNATIONAL CHOIR FESTIVAL that shall be held on the Mediterranean Island of Malta between 2nd and 5th November, 2017. New Music Miami Festivals and Collaboration Between ISCM Miami and ISCM Taiwan Chapters

During the spring 2015 the ISCM Miami Chapter presented their annual New Music Miami Festival. The festival this year included a total of thirteen concert presented between January and April 2015 and featured full concerts by guest performers including the Fonema Consort, Jennifer Choi, Bugallo Williams Piano Duo, Charles Curtis, Thomas Buckner, Mari Kimura, and Robert Dick.

A professional jury consisting of Mayke Nas (NLD), Christopher Trapani (USA) and Joe Cutler (GBR) has drawn up a shortlist for the 2017 Gaudeamus Award.No fewer than 288 scores from 36 different countries were submitted for the 2017 competition. Edwin van der Heide to be city Bonn sound artist

The Beethovenstiftung für Kunst und Kultur der Bundesstadt Bonn (Beethoven Foundation for Art and Culture of the Federal City of Bonn) has announced the appointment of Dutch artist Edwin van der Heide to be city sound artist bonn 2015. In the framework of the project bonn hoeren, the only one of its kind world-wide, the Beethovenstiftung Bonn has awarded an artistic project residency to a renowned sound artist for the sixth year running.
