10th Carl Nielsen International Violin Competition 2016

We welcome all young violinists from all over the world to apply to enter the competition. Only 24 candidates will be chosen by the Pre-Jury to continue to the competition held in Odense, the birth place of Carl Nielsen, on 16-22 April. the Carl Nielsen International Competitions' vision is to present Carl Nielsen in timely and relevant ways to a modern audience. This will happen in a strong collaboration between Carl Nielsen International Music Competitions, Odense Symphony Orchestra, SMKS (The Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts), Odense Municipality and music schools and institutions from all corners of Denmark.
The application must have reached the The Carl Nielsen International Competitions by 1 November, 2015
