Malta International Choir Festival 2017

 

 

 

 

The Ministry for Tourism and the Malta Tourism Authority are pleased to announce that preparations are underway for the 23rd edition of the MALTA INTERNATIONAL CHOIR FESTIVAL that shall be held on the Mediterranean Island of Malta between 2nd and 5th November, 2017. The Festival has now become a mainstay in the Maltese musical calendar and so it is very much anticipated by all music lovers of the genre. Suffice to say that in each of the last editions, Malta hosted 800 international choristers.

 

 

Tage für Neue Musik 2016

 

 

 

 

Founded by Gérard Zinsstag and Thomas Kessler in 1986 Tage für Neue Musik are organized by the city of Zurich since 1994 and take place during the first half of November. The concerts are held in close collaboration with the Tonhalle Society Zurich and her orchestra and with other partners. In 2016 the dates for new music to celebrate their 30-year anniversary. The festival will run from 16th-20th November; the artistic direction is in the hands of Hans-Peter Frehner

La fête à Francis Dhomont ! This year, the Espace du Son invites you to discover what is best in acousmatic music on acousmonium over 80 speakers. The first evening will be dedicated to the final of the international contest of composition Metamorphoses. Following this edition will pay tribute to one of the largest acousmatic composers of recent decades, Francis Dhomont. He will come in person to interpret a piece of his repertoire which has now become inescapable.
